Click & Collect market is predicted to grow

Posted on in Business News , Cycles News

delivery A new report by GlobalData suggests the UK click & collect market is set to rise 45.8% to reach £9.8 billion by 2023.

Talking Retail presents two factors that could inhibit the growth and development of the click & collect market over the coming years.

Firstly, with the number of retailers shutting down rising, the availability of collection points will reduce and in turn increase the usage of other delivery options including home delivery services.

Secondly, the introduction of delivery saver schemes are encouraging customers to select and utilise home delivery services.

These delivery services sometimes even include express delivery options for a discounted yearly fee, and this will drive up the use of home delivery schemes.

How could the rise of click & collect across the UK affect your businesses? Have you thought about offering it as a service or home delivery?
