Lime was founded on the idea that communities across the globe deserve the access to "smart, affordable mobility".

The Lime-E electric-assist bike was developed to make people's lives easier, including an affordable and accessible dockless feature.

Lime-E electric-assist features:

  • 50+ mile maximum range
  • No license required
  • 14.8mph maximum speed
  • 250-watt motor
  • In-app battery monitoring
  • £1 to unlock bikes
  • 15p per minute of travel

Lime has worked with the Milton Keynes council, police and local cycling groups to create the best results with bike placement across the city and bike maintenance.

Jaanaki Momaya, general manager for Lime UK, said:

"We're excited to provide residents and visitors to Milton Keynes with a healthy, accessible and emission-free way to get around town".

Milton Keynes is at the lead of transportation innovation and a dynamic city, which Momaya is ecstatic to be a part of by adding electric bikes into the mix.
