ACT to introduce new service at iceBike*

Posted on in Cycles News

With representatives on four stands and the introduction of a new service, the ACT are going to be busy at this year's iceBike*!

The ACT will have representation on four stands at iceBike* this February; the ACT stand in the foyer, the Madison Business Services Area, the Cytech stand in the foyer and on the Park Tool stand.

icebikeFirst up the ACT will have a stand in the main foyer where retailers are invited to discuss the full range of ACT membership services on offer, including a brand new gift, loyalty and marketing app. The service will launch fully later this year but the ACT would like to take this opportunity to tell retailers more about what they can expect and encourage them to register their interest in the app to gain access to exclusive offers before the nationwide launch.

Plus, when you register your interest at the show you'll be in with a chance to win a tablet worth over £200. One lucky winner will be chosen at random from all the registrations.

Next, a representative from the ACT will be situated in the Madison Business Services Area alongside information about the Professional Retailer Programme (PRP), Freewheel and Credit Control. The ACT will be here offering support and advice on Retail Finance and FCA authorisation. So whether you already offer finance or are considering joining the Ride it away scheme, find out how you can make the most of it in your store.

Alongside the ACT in the main foyer there will be a Cytech stand offering up information on the range of courses available to the trade. Retailers are also encouraged to stop by and check the details of their business on the International Cytech directory - a listing of all Cytech qualified personnel worldwide. If your business isn't yet on the directory, ask the team at the show how you can get staff qualified with courses available from just £60.

Lastly, Cytech master technician Jules Thrasher will be lending a hand on the Park Tool stage, talking about all things e-bike; looking at diagnostics using Shimano's e-tube project, showing dealers Shimano's STEC UK webpage and demonstrating a few pro hacks using Park Tools.

If you have a Madison trade account register to visit iceBike* here.

For more information about any of the services available to cycle businesses contact the ACT on 01273 427 700 or info@theact.org.uk .
