APPCG to discuss 'What's wrong with Bikeability'

Posted on in Cycles News , Political News

As members of the UK cycling alliance, ACT invite members of the trade to join the All Party Parliamentary Cycling Group for cycle related meetings and events.

The All Party Parliamentary Cycling Group (APPCG) exists to promote the use of bicycles as a mode of transport and to raise the awareness and status of cycling.

http://www.actsmart.biz/uploaded_images/news-main-body/appcg-logo.jpgThe APPCG hope you can join the upcoming session to discuss "What's wrong with Bikeability"

More than two million children in primary schools have done Bikeability training, but is this resulting in more young people cycling regularly? Our speakers will talk about the latest developments and data from cycle training around the UK, and also how older people are now benefiting from this training.

The meeting will take place in Room A, 1 Parliament Street from 4-5pm on Tuesday 17th January.

If you are interested in attending this meeting please email Adam Coffman coffmana@parliament.uk.
