Courses available - get Cytech qualified this summer

There are currently still places available for Cytech courses in July and August, so you and your staff can get qualified this summer.

Cytech demoWith training centres in Stafford, Aylesbury and London, ATG Training has been training cycle technicians across the UK since 2001 having developed the professional qualification in conjunction with the ACT, the brand owners of Cytech.

From the introductory Technical one to the advanced Technical three, there is a course designed for every member of the cycle trade.

Cytech Technical two is the trade standard for any professional cycle mechanic. It includes training of 10 days including all the skills to service and maintain cycles and build wheels to a high standard. It will also equip you with the knowledge and skills to work safely and efficiently as a professional mechanic. The course is certificated by Cytech and EAL and includes training, assessment and knowledge checks throughout the course.

Cytech Technical three represents the pinnacle of technical proficiency. This level can be attained only by experienced cycle technicians with a full understanding of the advanced engineering behind high-end, performance cycles. Technical three is taught on a modular basis, and technicians who are qualified to this level are able to install and calibrate top-level electronic groupsets, service complex suspension systems and hydraulic brakes as well as building high-performance, lightweight and robust wheelsets which are specific to purpose.

There are currently spaces available to book on both the Technical two and Technical three courses, on the following dates:

CYTECH TECHNICAL TWO (10 days)

  • Week Commencing 6th July in London
  • Week Commencing 20th July in London
  • Week commencing 3rd August at Stafford
  • Week commencing 10th August at Aylesbury and London


CYTECH TECHNICAL THREE MTB

  • 17th to 21st August at Stafford
