A Christmas gift to you and your staff, from Cytech

Posted on in Cycles News

Reward your staff by investing in them this Christmas. For a limited time only we are offering a free Cytech theory one course when you buy another.

The ACT believe that every specialist cycle trade employee should be armed with the knowledge and skills to better understand how the business is run, manage customer expectations, work safely and efficiently in the retail environment and even carry out some of the more basic workshop activities.

In order to achieve this goal - and in the spirit of Christmas - for a limited time only we are offering you the chance to get two staff qualified for the price of one.

Operating internationally and with more training centres planned in the coming year, Cytech is the recognised training and accreditation scheme for bicycle technicians worldwide.

Being Cytech qualified not only gives your staff the confidence they need to do their job to the highest of their ability, but it also gives your customers peace of mind that their bike is in safe hands.

Whilst Cytech technical two is the industry standard for professional cycle technicians and Cytech technical three represents the pinnacle of technical proficiency, getting qualified to a minimum of Cytech theory one is key for EVERY cycle trade employee, no matter what their role within in the business.

Possessing the skills learnt in Cytech theory one will give your employees a strong foundation of knowledge to better their ability to talk to customers, sell products, advise on basic repairs and build their career. The online learning course delivers an introduction to bicycle maintenance that can be completed anywhere, in your own time.

ACT members can access the course for as little as £60* per course all year round, which means that until Christmas you can get staff qualified from just £30 per person.

Simply register and pay for one member of staff by 24th December and then use this form to claim the second course for free.**

Please note the button above takes you to the UK registration. For other countries please see this page here.

Once they've completed the course, your staff (and shop!) will be promoted online via the international Cytech directory. The Cytech directory works as a constantly updated census of who is Cytech qualified and where they are employed, helping consumers in the UK and worldwide to find their nearest qualified mechanic to take care of their bike.

*Platinum members of the ACT can purchase the course for £60. For prices available to other membership levels click here .

**Not to be used in conjunction with any other offer. Can be used multiple times by each business, i.e. buy two get two free. Expires 24th December.
