Job Description
We are a cycle workshop situated at the heart of the Cotswolds with big plans for the future. We are building a team which is respectful, inclusive and most importantly doesn’t take itself too seriously.
We are looking for a cycle mechanic to join us and take responsibility for delivering high-quality standards of care to our fleet of bikes. Providing expert knowledge and advice to ensure the best possible care and experience, whilst adhering to the specific needs of the site we operate within.
Responsibilities & Duties:

To assist in the day to day safe and efficient running of the bicycle workshop.

To assist in managing budgets for the purchase of materials and tools to ensure the smooth progression of projects through the workshop.

To work alongside the workshop manager in keeping records for monitoring all works carried out in the workshop.

To ensure consistently high standards of work carried out and perform regular incoming and outgoing inspections on that work.

To ensure that the workshop is the first point of contact for advice on best practices for the use and maintenance of cycles on site.

To have a solid knowledge of all categories of merchandise and to be confident in talking about technical aspects of all products.

To assist in handling customer complaints/accidents and log these according to company procedures.

Maintain a high level of housekeeping throughout the workshop at all times.

To represent the company in a professional manner at all times whilst onsite and during events/off site functions.
