Job Description
We are looking for a Cycle Mechanic to join our team at South Downs Bikes, Goring. This role is permanent and full time.
Technically minded individuals who are enthusiastic for hands on work and good at problem solving are what we are looking for. Another attribute which is essential is a willingness to be flexible with work to adapt to the needs of our customers.
Experience with eBikes (Shimano, Bosch and Brose) and electronic gear shifting is preferred, not essential, a willingness to learn is far more important.
Core duties:
- Bike servicing and repairs in a timely fashion and with appropriate solutions.
- Consistent and timely communication with customers with the progress of their service.
- Warranty work and administration.
- Developing technical knowledge.
- Maintaining a clean and tidy workshop.
- Feeding back to Store Manager any suggestions for more efficient workshop practice.
