Dean Forest Cycle Centre is situated in the village of Parkend in the Heart of the Forest of Dean. At the start of the traffic free Family Cycle Trail alongside the Dean Forest Steam Railway, offering visitors the perfect starting point to explore the Forest.

Whether you want to take your time, enjoy the scenery and relax along the 11 mile Family Cycle Trail, or head off and explore the forest tracks and trails or take advantage of an adrenaline filled mountain bike experience, including the new Verderers trail, we are here for you.

Park for FREE and start the day with a coffee and croissant (muddy boots no problem) in our warm and friendly cafe, then just hire a bike and head out. Choose from our range of specially tailored routes to suite age and ability. Walkers and cyclists can take advantage of our drop off service if you don't want to complete a circular route. We cater for all ages and abilities, and guarantee a warm and friendly welcome.

Bike hire includes all the equipment you require, (helmets and tool kits) all our bikes are from the top quality Kona and Avanit mountain bike range. For those precious little ones we have trailers, child seats, and towalongs and offer discounts for families and off peak hire
