Invitation to the National Assembly for Wales Annual Reception

The Welsh Cross-Party Group on Small Shops is hosting a Reception in the National Assembly for Wales to launch the Welsh Local Shop Report and ActSmart subscribers are invited.

17:30-19:30, Wednesday 7th February 2018
Oriel Room, Ty Hywel, National Assembly for Wales

This event will allow retailers to meet their Assembly Members and hear from the Minister for Growth about what the Welsh Government is doing to support local shops.

This event already has numerous AMs confirmed to attend and independent retailers are also welcome.

Ken is Cabinet Secretary for Economy and Transport for the Welsh Government. He is the Minister responsible for the growth and development of business in Wales and entrepreneurship.
 
 
 

Janet Finch-Saunders AM 

Janet is Chair of the Cross-Party Group on Small Shops and Shadow Spokesperson for Local Government. She has founded a number of successful local businesses and is an advocate for entrepreneurship.

 
 
James Lowman
Chief Executive, Association of Convenience Stores     

James is Chief Executive of the Association of Convenience Stores, representing 33,500 local shops. He will provide an overview of the report and what its findings mean for retailers in Wales.
