Following the unveiling of a £1.5 billion plan to boost cycling and walking in Greater Manchester, Chris Boardman will be speaking at the upcoming APPCG meeting.
As members of the UK cycling alliance, the ACT invite members to join the All Party Parliamentary Cycling Group (APPCG) throughout the year for cycle related meetings and events.
On Tuesday 23rd January 2018 the APPCG invite you to attend a meeting on Manchester's £1.5 billion cycling vision where Chris Boardman, Manchester's first walking and cycling commissioner, will be speaking.
Boardman has just published a report that calls for 700 miles of cycle lanes to be built over 10 years, at a cost of £1.5 billion. The report calls for measures that will help people across Greater Manchester to start to travel more actively by improving infrastructure, working closely with schools, businesses and the wider community.
