Change the way you package your bikes with Bipak

Posted on in Brands & Products News , Cycles News

Bipak is an award winning bike packing solution from Smurfit Kappa.

Bipak road bikeSmurfit Kappa's designers devised a packing procedure to facilitate easy, smooth and fast delivery of the completed cycle. A support is attached to the bike frame and placed in the outer protecting the forks and front brake assembly. A triangular cover clips around the frame securing and separating the handlebars and frame from other parts.

A support for the rear wheel locates the bike in the outer. Another box-shaped support contains documentation and small parts. A folder style fitting contains the front wheel, featuring multiple creases to accommodate different wheel and tyre specifications.

Key benefits

  • A 3D set of ‘Best practice' packing instructions ensures the bikes are packed precisely, by anyone in the workforce.
  • This pack can be used by retailers and manufacturers or those wanting to travel with their cycle.
  • Each fitment is marked in sequence A, B, C to aid ease and speed, and has vastly improved packing.
  • The transit pack is 100% FSC® corrugated cardboard and can be disposed of easily by the consumer in the normal waste stream.
  • The outer carton can be plain or printed to suit any customer requirements.
  • Originally designed for Cotic Ltd, Sheffield.
  • This packaging approach enhances the quality of the consumer's ‘magic moment' of first unboxing.
