Posted on in Business News , Cycles News

Frog Bikes was founded in 2013 with the vision to create quality, lightweight and affordable kids' bikes. Frog Bikes, in partnering with Welsh Cycling, will be able to show kids and their siblings what cycling is all about at a number of family cycling events. The events will cover cross-country mountain biking and cyclocross, with test racks and a varied range of Frog Bikes available to try.

Frog Bikes Head of Marketing, Val Benyon, said:

"We are really excited to partner with Welsh Cycling as we realise that so many families can benefit from our shared ambition of making cycling more accessible".

Frog Bikes will help to encourage as many children and young kids as possible to cycling within a safe environment.

"We want to see more kids on bikes, enjoying the experience at the events and beyond. If more children can have a positive introduction to cycling, we can help grow the sport and contribute towards families adopting a healthy and active lifestyle".

Families and young children can enjoy cycling for the first time in a safe and fun environment through the two upcoming events held by Welsh Cycling. Frog Bikes are designed specifically for children between the ages of 1 and 14 with featured bikes with super-lightweight aluminium frames, shorter cranks and child-specific components, comprising of Balance, Hybrid, MTB, Road and Track bikes.

Anne Adams-King, CEO of Welsh Cycling, said:

"This is a fantastic opportunity to work with a bike manufacturer who have their development programme in Pontypool in Wales and understand the need for an introduction to safe cycling at Welsh Cycling events, we are looking forward to working with Frog Bikes at these events with an aim to increase participation of children cycling in Wales".
