DfT assets to display in-store to encourage walking or cycling to school

Posted on in Business News , Cycles News

Sback to schooltudents will be returning to schools and colleges from Monday 8th March. Ahead of the return, and throughout the period, the Department for Transport (DfT) are encouraging pupils of all ages, their parents and teachers to walk or cycle to school if they can.

Not only is this a great way to get outdoors and get some fresh air and exercise, it will also help with managing demand on public transport, helping those who need to use it to travel safely.

With IBDs remaining open and continuing to interact with members of the public, we require your help in spreading this message to your customers both online and in-store.

The key message to everyone is:

If you live a short distance from your school, college or university, consider walking or cycling.

There are a range of assets that can be downloaded and used in when promoting this message, such as the infographic below, on the DfT extranet here.
