Cosmo smart bike lights to be distributed by Madison

Posted on in Business News ,Brands & Products News , Cycles News

Madison announced the immediate distribution of the smart Cosmo Connected Bike Light to retailers across the UK and Ireland.

Cosmo Connected smart bike lights, designed by French start-up and Madison's newest brand - Cosmo Connected, can be fixed to a helmet or a bike featuring a number of innovative and technical safety features.

The light works like a brake light, the brightness increasing when a cyclist decelerates in a similar way to a car or motorcycle. The light has multi-function features including acting as an indicator controlled by a Bluetooth remote or smartphone mounted on the handlebars. Impressively, the light can be linked up to Google Maps via a smartphone so that it begins indicating when approaching a turn so riders do not have to use a remote. When the light is connected to a smartphone is can also detect if the rider has had an accident, notifying friends and family within three minutes of the rider's location.

"We are really excited to start working with Cosmo Connected. The product is really innovative and we hope to help them emulate the success they've had in the motorcycle industry in cycling. There are some really smart features within the product and we look forward to getting started".

Adrian Phillips, Cosmo Connected Brand Director at Madison.

Cosmo bike lights can be ordered now here.
