Exciting times for Volt as they launch the UK's most technologically advanced electric road bike featuring Shimano Steps.

2014 - 2015 has proven an exciting period for VOLT. In late 2014 VOLT began working on a bike design which features the new Shimano Steps central crank motor.

With their 100 year reputation of producing the highest quality bike components, the decision to partner with Shimano over other brands was an easy one.

"VOLT Infinity Shimano Steps" officially launched in early July 2015, with stock shipping at the end of this month. They've already taken numerous backorders and are very proud to be the first British e-bike manufacturer to partner Shimano on their e-bike motor technology.

Throughout 2014/15 VOLT has been featured in many well-known high street publications and TV programs including Gadget show, the Mail on Sunday, BikeBiz, Total Women's Cycling, Electric Bike Magazine, T3 Magazine; achieving a number of awards including best e-bike of the year by T3 magazine.

Along with their continued focus on growing VOLT, the Directors of VOLT have also created a number of new strategic partnerships for 2015/16 one of the most significant being the formation of a completely new e-bike brand called "Walleräng". This is a joint venture with the directors of Sweden's biggest e-bike manufacturer Eco-ride. The new business "Walleräng E-Bikes" has been launched with the core intention of targeting the global market and becoming Europe's largest dedicated e-bike manufacturer.

By harnessing the design, manufacture, marketing and production skills of both VOLT and Eco-Ride, this new brand is sure to make a solid impact on the e-bike world. The bikes are being manufactured in Sweden and officially launched to the market at the euro bike exhibition on August 26th - 29th 2015 in Hall A4 - stand 605.

VOLT are looking for distribution partners Europe-wide. If you are interesting in becoming a distributors for this exciting new brand, get in touch with VOLT today on 0207 378 4728 or info@voltbikes.co.uk.
