ActSmart offers 10 FREE Retail Scholarships

Free scholarships at the Oxford Summer School worth £1599 each are available to talented independent retail managers.
Skillsmart Retail and Retail Trust have linked up with ActSmart to offer Silver/Gold/Platinum subscribers this unique opportunity.
The scholarships are open to all managers from independent retailers with at least five years experience and who are currently working in SME's with less than 1000 employees.
Oxford Summer School is a unique management training programme developed specifically for retail and takes place at Keble College, Oxford, from 21st to 27th August 2010.
The intensive programme combines tutorials, group work and presentations from senior executives in the retail trade.
This year's speakers include Joseph Wan, Chief Executive of Harvey Nichols, Mark Newton-Jones, Chief Executive of Shop Direct Group and Susan Aubrey-Cound, Director Multi Channel Retail of Marks and Spencer .
There are 10 free scholarship places available, which will give ActSmart subscribers the opportunity to:
- Develop the skills of managing: people, money, marketing, merchandise and retail space.
- Meet and work with some of the best retailers in the UK.
