ACT Shop of the Month

Each month the ACT recognises one cycle retailer as the Shop of the month.
The Shop of the month benefits from appearing on the home page of The
Cycling Experts and the Independent Retailers Confederation (IRC) website, accessible by up to 600,000 web
visitors a month.
The Cycling Experts benefits from traffic directly from British Cycling, Why Cycle, Bike Hub, Sustrans, Bike Week and Bikesoup, which all utilise or link directly to the Experts Business Listings. The combined traffic from all of these sites exceeds 4 million unique visitors a year.

ACT Shop of the Month | May | Hewitt Cycles
Hewitt Cycles first opened in June 1994 and within a short period of time established itself as a shop that could fulfil the needs of various types of cyclist.
Starting from an extremely small shop - less than 600 sq.ft, several favourable magazine reviews and the success of the Cheviot range of touring cycles led to a move to their current, larger premises on Preston Road in Leyland, Lancashire.
Hewitt Cycles are suppliers of top quality, race bikes, touring bikes, Audax bikes, time-trial bikes and mountain bikes. They are suppliers of products and services to some of the UK's top racing cyclists, amateur and professional, at all levels from local through to national, world, commonwealth and Olympic champions.
The Hewitt Cycles workshop is capable of repairing, or building any make, model and type of cycle, with Cytech qualified staff on hand to service & repair to the highest standard.
To assist customers in buying the bike of their dreams, Hewitt Cycles offer a range of cycle to work schemes as well as Ride it away retail finance.

nominates the chosen shop of the month to represent the cycles industry
in the IRC Shop of the Month.
Site visitors have the opportunity to vote for their favourite Independent shop of the month, which will then have the honour of being recognised as the Independent Retailer of the Month throughout the whole of the UK.
