Give your customers a say when they pay

Posted on in Business News

Although people want to give feedback and have their voice heard, less than 1% of people currently complete surveys or post online reviews.

ActSmart have partnered with truRating to help independent retailers get the feedback they need, at volume, to help improve their businesses.

truRating helps businessses to listen to their customers by gathering feedback at the moment a customer pays on your existing chip and PIN terminals.

Once a card is inserted into the terminals, a question appears before the PIN screen for a customer to give their feedback on the Service, Experience, Value or likeliness to Recommend your business. Just one question per transaction. A customer rates; always a single-digit key press, from 0-9 and is easy, quick, anonymous and unobtrusive which is why 88% of customers are participating.

These ratings are sent to your online analytics dashboard that allows you to see how your customers feel about their experience and where opportunities and improvements can be made.

Equally you can publish this feedback via our website - truRating.com. Here, customers can search for great business in their local area, like yours, based on hundreds of unbiased ratings.

Reviews and feedback are important for all businesses, but in particular for big-ticket retailers where the influence of Service, Value and Customer Experience are so crucial to closing a sale. Equally a customers likeliness to Recommend your business is a key indicator in future growth.

Managing director of customer experience specialists Aura Corporation Mike Trotman, said: "Reviews and five-star ratings systems are commonplace when you buy a car or go on holiday, but for other big consumer expenditures it seems there's a notable lack of opportunity for public commentary. You might not check reviews before buying a tube of toothpaste, but you'll probably want to before committing hundreds of pounds [to a product]."
