Raleigh makes list of UK superbrands

Posted on in Brands & Products News , Cycles News

Employees at Raleigh are celebrating this week following the news that their company has been listed as one of the top consumer brands in the UK.

Bicycle company Raleigh was the only cycling brand to be listed in the national Superbrands survey, highlighting just how synonymous the Raleigh name is with cycling.

The survey has been running since 1995 and seeks to identify the UK's strongest brands.

Voters in the survey are asked to judge brands against three factors, Quality (does the brand provide quality products and services?), Reliability (can the brand be trusted to deliver consistently?) and Distinction (is it well known in its sector and suitably different from its rivals?)

Raleigh Managing Director Mark Gouldthorp: "From humble beginnings on Raleigh Street, Nottingham, the Raleigh story has taken some fascinating twists over the years, but one thing has remained true and that's our reputation for reliability and quality.

"We've worked tirelessly over the years to improve our brand; this award makes all the late nights spent honing our new brand identity worth it.

I'd like to dedicate this to the thousands of workers who helped build the company and its iconic bikes, to the millions of people who choose to ride our bikes and to today's team who continue to grow our company."
