ICHF Events Ltd has announced excellent take up for its new autumn trade event - Craft Hobby + Stitch International - Autumn which will be held for the first time in London in September this year.

Over 150 companies will exhibit to trade buyers from across the globe, with over 60% of stand space already sold.

Major players in the creative art, craft, needlecraft, fabric and hobby industries already signed up for the new autumn show include Coats Crafts UK, DMC, Sirdar, James C Brett, King Cole, The Craft Cotton Company, The Saville Row Cloth Company, Westfallenstoffe, Designer Yarns, Woman's Weekly, Lanamania, Oaktree, Warm Product Company, Riolis and Rooster Yarns.

Commenting after the spring show, Farah Farmah, Marketing Manager at DMC said: "The show went very well for us. We had a brand new stand which we feel has made a great impact. The show has resulted in some very good new leads and some good orders too and we're looking forward to the new autumn show in September."

The new two-day show at ExCeL London is in addition to the existing Craft Hobby + Stitch International event which runs at the NEC, Birmingham. Like its spring counterpart, the autumn Craft Hobby + Stitch International will be an industry focused trade event and will feature free workshops and business seminars, a new product showcase highlighting product launches and three daily fashion shows - ‘Creativity on the Catwalk'.

Andrew Morton, ICHF Events Ltd, Show Manager, says, "Craft Hobby + Stitch International is a well-established, winning formula which we are expanding to benefit from an additional location at a different time of year. Craft Hobby + Stitch International -Autumn in September is a timely platform for exhibitors to launch new products, assert brand position for the year ahead and showcase new seasonal designs. Visitors to the show have a great opportunity to make buying decisions for additional Christmas stock as well as for next year's spring/summer trends."

Advice on how to promote Christmas-themed sales promotions and workshops as well as business seminars including social media topics will be available on each day. Visitors pre-registered to attend the show are also automatically entered into a daily retailer prize draw to win £1,000 to spend with exhibitors.

ExCeL London, is the leading trade exhibition centre in the UK, and has been selected because it offers excellent international links, being close to London City Airport and London Heathrow. The venue is also easily accessible via the Docklands Light Railway (DLR) and major motorway networks.

Craft Hobby + Stitch International continues to be Europe's No 1 trade show for the creative art, craft, needlecraft, fabric and hobby industries. The show is free to attend to all trade buyers by registering in advance at www.chsi.co.uk
