Myagi set to revolutionise retail training in the UK Cycling Industry

Posted on in Business News , Cycles News

Silicon Valley Venture backed tech business Myagi is set to expand its innovative E-learning network to the UK cycling industry after a hugely successful launch in UK Outdoor during 2014.

"The UK cycling industry is a natural step for us given the industry's focus on technical know-how and the wide distribution enjoyed by many brands through lots of retailers" says Simon Turner , CEO & Co-Founder of Myagi.

Individual learners have their own dash board similar to a social network, where they can monitor their own progress. Team managers can also monitor activity and reward success. The training is delivered in the form of short videos and can be accessed from any web enabled device and uses a short quiz to measure outcomes.

Established in Melbourne Australia in 2013 by retail technology entrepreneurs Simon Turner & Tom McLeod, Myagi is already working with leading cycling retailers, brands and distributors in the US and Australia and is now establishing links into the UK.

"We're already seeing great results with leading brands and retailers such as La Pierre, Norco and Mike's Bikes in both the United States and Australia. We're excited about working with the UK as we expand our network in cycling globally" Says Simon

Myagi launched in the outdoor industry in 2014 and has been adopted by, significant brands including Merrell, Jack Wolfskin, Adidas Outdoor and many more. The Online network has also been adopted by Blacks, the leading UK outdoor retailer (part of the JD Plc group of companies). This significant commitment has led to a roll out across UK retail in the sector, establishing Myagi as THE online learning network.

Business development manager for Myagi Richard Smith commented "We are passionate about providing a cost effective, measurable and engaging online platform to help up-skill retail sales associates. By allowing brands and retailers to easily share product knowledge and sales skills we make learning easy and fast. We can also help improve and measure face to face training which has always been a huge challenge and significant cost to suppliers and retailers alike"

Myagi are currently consulting leading suppliers, national and independent retailers, to gauge opinion and gather feedback to ensure they understand and deliver exactly what the cycling industry needs.
