ACT membership ‘more than worthwhile - it's essential'

Representing the interests of almost 4000 businesses in the cycle industry, the Association of Cycle Traders (ACT) prides itself on offering members the essential services, support, consumer promotion and development opportunities they need to successfully grow their business.

The ACT recently released the annual spring update, giving an insight into how ACT is continuing to support the independent cycle trade through essential services and support.

With all the new developments that have been introduced over the past 12 months and those that are in the pipeline for 2015, it's great to see that more businesses are realising the value of their membership and actively encouraging other cycle traders to join.

Paul Manuel of WetRocknRide , Hartlepool who joined the association in 2014 fully endorses the ACT.

"I would definitely recommend the Association of Cycle Traders (ACT) to other cycle businesses as a solid voice in an ever changing landscape that is the cycle industry. The help advice and services offered is far more than worthwhile - it's essential.

"Apart from the individual elements that help businesses focus and excel in individual areas for example; maintenance with the Cytech qualification, the ACT offers such a broad range of information and services ideally suited to the budding or established cycle business. These include retail finance with V12 and access to professional business experts in many fields who are familiar, friendly and extremely helpful without ever being overbearing."

From access to sales tools such as Ride it away cycle finance to discounts on Cytech skills training, the range of benefits available to ACT members has grown significantly over the years and now boasts services worth £300million to the trade.

For the equivalent of just £22.50* per month, any cycles business in the UK can access the full range of membership benefits offered by the ACT.
