cytech.training on desktop, laptop, tablet and smartphone

Following a number of new developments the Cytech site has now been revamped to make it the one-stop shop for cycle mechanics.

In May 2012, the ACT launched a brand new website, dedicated to Cytech, the bicycle maintenance training and accreditation scheme. Since the site launched, thousands of site visitors have been able to find out more about the range of courses and even check the Cytech qualifications of all specialist retailers and suppliers in the Cytech Retail Directory.

Following a number or new developments this year, such as the introduction of a dedicated Cytech theory one web portal and the launch of Cytech training courses overseas, the Cytech site has been improved.

Cytech.training is the new, international website for all cycle mechanics - whether looking to get qualified or already qualified.

As well as being redesigned and optimised for the growing number of mobile and tablet browsers, the site now boasts a number of new features:

  • New url: Cytech.training is now an international site, replacing Cytech.uk.com
  • More training providers: A simple way to find out all you need to know about your local training provider - whether in the UK or overseas
  • Simple price lists: Find out the price of every course at the training provider of your choice, all on one page.
  • Cytech directory: The directory is now international and lists everyone with a Cytech qualification - not just those currently working in a retail outlet.
  • Workshop resources: A newly introduced Workshop resources section has been designed to be a one-stop shop for all cycle mechanics including handy documents, guides and downloads for the workshop.
  • Cytech cycling club: Take it to the road or trail, battle it out against other Cytech mechanics on the Cytech cycling club.

The new website represents how far the Cytech brand has come in the last couple of years alone. Over 8000 technical courses have been delivered to cycle mechanics in the UK, with c.1000 independent cycle retailers now promoting themselves as a fully Cytech accredited business.

Get qualified

As a now internationally recognised qualification, there has never been a better time get your staff qualified here in the UK.

With Cytech courses encompassing the basics of cycle mechanics right through to dealing with the most advanced and high-tech components and parts, there is a course and qualification to suit all staff.

From taking a first step toward becoming a fully qualified cycle technician with Cytech theory one - an interactive online distance learning course, providing a strong foundation for candidates to build their career upon - to Cytech technical three which represents the pinnacle of technical proficiency.
