ATG commended at Bike Biz awards

The Bike Biz Awards 2014 took place the night before annual Cycle Show's trade day, on the evening of Wednesday 24th September at the Crowne Plaza Birmingham NEC.

Eighteen awards were given out to retailers, distributors, brands, service providers and more on the night.

This year ATG Training was shortlisted in the Training category alongside six other providers and walked away with the top prize in the category.

Speaking after the event a spokesman for ATG Training said ‘Thank you to all our customers who voted for us in the Training Category of the Bike Biz Awards. This means a lot to us given it is customers who vote. We will never rest on any laurels and redouble our efforts to ensure the Cytech training delivered meets the needs of the trade'.

ATG Training are the largest provider of Cytech accredited training throughout the UK.

Cytech is the internationally recognised training and accreditation scheme for bicycle technicians, delivering training and promotion of technical skills to the cycles trade and enthusiasts worldwide.

Cytech is owned by the UK cycle industry via the Association of Cycle Traders (ACT) and was developed over 20 years ago. Over 6000 technical courses have been delivered to over 3500 candidates including staff working for some of the leading UK bicycle distributors. Over 2000 Cytech qualified staff are currently employed in the UK.

Cytech courses encompass the basics of cycle mechanics right through to dealing with the most advanced and high-tech components and parts.
