ActSmart is heavily dependent upon partnerships that we enter into so we launched our awards initiative for the first time at the Cycle Show 2010. The Best Partner and Runner Up for the year are shown recognition for all their hard work.
Partner of the year 2011
ActSmart honoured Moneyway as Partner of the year in 2011 for their continued success in the retail finance market.
Moneyway commenced the 2010/11 year with the daunting challenge of introducing the new Consumer Credit Directive throughout the fast growing cycle retail network. Moneyway took the initiative to engage with retailers early and all users had been through a re-education process well ahead of the February 2011 introduction.

Runner-up Partner of the year 2011
ATG, the leading provider of C
ytech training was recognised as ActSmart Runner-up Partner of the year in 2011.
During 2011 ATG adapted the Cytech Technical 3 qualification to allow candidates to focus on either the MTB or Road route, something that the retail industry specifically requested of the training provider.
2011 saw a significant expansion in paid for training (as opposed to Government funded) and with it an acceleration of candidate adoption of Cytech throughout the UK. ATG re-launched their website incorporating clear details about all of the Cytech courses available and an on line booking facility.

Partner of the year 2010
In February 2010, our new partner Moneyway stepped in to take on the retail finance initiative, Ride it away, helping to boost the market to be worth c£30m and have c75% market share.
Since the creation of the partnership, Moneyway went to great lengths to ensure the ride it away scheme became a success and their interaction with retailers to educate and improve their cycle finance schemes received only positive feedback.

TGSi managed our increasingly complex database and website systems and helped ActSmart to launch the new The Cycling Experts website, delivering on time with fresh ideas for how the website should function
